My Graduation project “Rihhal | رِحال"
A Journey Through Time, Told in Stone and Light
is an archaeological museum in Al-Faw, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Designed to reflect the soul of the place, the project follows UNESCO & وزارة الثقافة Ministry of Culture guidelines while rethinking how we experience heritage. By eliminating side windows, the design minimizes external distractions and keeps the visitor’s attention anchored within the space—on the artifacts and the stories they carry.
Inspired by theories of semiotics, empathy, space, and psychology, every corner of Rihal invites visitors to feel, explore, and connect. With every beam of filtered light and every tactile surface, the museum draws you deeper into the historical soul of Al-Faw.
